本当は、出来るだけカバンに見えない
袋状のモノがいいと思うんです。
少々持ち難くても、カバンらしくないモノが私は理想的です。
手で持ちたい。肩に担ぎたい。背中に背負いたい。
便利を追及している間にモノのかたちや色は限定され、画一化され、
次第にモノに対する興味が失われていきます。
現実的には、いろいろな制約を踏まえてデザインをしますが、
利便性に勝るささやかなときめきが、
その袋状のモノに宿ればと思います。
To be honest, I think the best bag is one that doesn't look like a normal bag. Even if it's a little bit inconvenient to carry, my ideal bag is not"bag-like”.
I want to hold it in my hand. I want to hang it from my shoulder. I want to wear it onmy back.
In the pursuit of convenience and usability, I think most bags are bland, boring and worse, when the user's needs change or evolve, you're left with something that is now useless.
In the real world, that feeling of joy and excitement that you get when you're holding a bag you love wins over convenience every time.
